If you are passionate about software development - read on! The Enterprise Network Engineer is responsible for delivering technical solutions and network support of a large-scale Data Center. This role involves projects supporting the Data Center networks, systems and application environments. This position collaborates with other team members while consulting with program groups to meet their requirements for networking solutions. Required Skills and
Experience:
The network engineer will have 10
years' experience and knowledge to include, but not limited to, the following areas:
Strong Routing and Switching Networking expertise Proven ability to understand, translate, and implement security standards on-premises and in the cloud Must be familiar with Splunk, Nagios, and other security and monitoring tools Designing network solutions for enterprise customers experience Provide Technical support across Engineering, Security, and System Administration competencies for solutions to hosted customer problems Support design architecture and technical solutions compliant with DoN and NMCI policies applicable to Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud architectures Produce and maintain networking documents to include network diagrams, firewall policies and network configurations. Perform Domain Name System (DNS) installation/configuration and administration. Work closely with various technology support teams as well as with vendor technical support to ensure robust operational performance of Data Center networks, systems, applications, services, and business processes as it relates to network requirements. Keep abreast of emerging network technologies to identify, research, evaluate and present concept and solutions to management for implementation considerations. Desired/Required Skills:
Must be a US Citizen-no H1B applications will be considered. Must hold an active interim or adjudicated current Defense Security Service SECRET clearance. Bachelor's degree in IT related field preferred Ability to execute work independently and as a member of a team 8570 compliance (i.e., Security
and OS certifications) Solid knowledge of working in a Datacenter Outstanding organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Reliable with exceptional work ethic Detail orientated with self-motivated attitude Collaborative, team focus to support cohesive work team
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
