Qualifications:
Applies Risk Management Framework (RMF) concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Performs work that requires practical experience and training. Work is performed under supervision. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. Provides customer support in solving all phases of complex information assurance-related technical problems. Reviews and recommends information assurance solutions to customer problems based on an understanding of products/systems test results. Conducts systems security analysis and implementation, system engineering, electrical design, design assurance, testing, software engineering, program design, configuration management, integration and testing of information assurance products and techniques. Solutions are based on a firm understanding of government/industry policy, practices, procedures, customer requirements, and emerging security technologies and future trends in support of information system and network security. Assist in handling personal, confidential, or Privacy Act information (e.g. System Authorization Access Request Navy (SAAR-N) forms) in accordance with publicly accessible federal regulations and DOD Instructions, such as DOD Instruction 5200.48 and the federal Privacy Act of 1974 Provide support to the coordination, collection, validation, and assembly of data input required to prepare responses to cybersecurity data calls, Information Assurance Vulnerability Messages (IAVMs), tasking orders (TASKORDs), exercise orders (EXORDs), and similar DoD/DON cybersecurity-related taskers. Provides work direction and guidance to other personnel; ensures accuracy of the work of other personnel, operates under deadlines and able to work on multiple tasks. Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of 8 years year of experience. A Secret Clearance is required. The candidate(s) must be experienced with Risk Management Framework and/or DIACAP Possess IA Workforce, IA Technical, and IA Management Levels I/II or equivalent as defined in the DOD Instruction 8570.01M. Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (preferred) from an accredited college or university in electrical, electronic or computer engineering; computer science; or a related field. What's in It For You? Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
IT SecurityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
